SathiSeva ("we," "our," or "us") operates the SathiSeva Mobile Application (iOS & Android) and the official web directory at sathiseva.arkabyte.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard user information when you visit or interact with our platform.
By installing the SathiSeva App, creating an account, or registering as a local vendor in Keshod / Gujarat, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
A. Personal Identification Information
When registering or logging in via OTP, we collect your 10-digit mobile number. For profile creation, users may optionally provide their full name, email address, and city location preference.
B. Vendor Registration Information
Local vendors registering business profiles provide business names, category selection, business phone numbers, shop addresses, operating hours, service descriptions, shop photos, and verification documents (e.g., Aadhaar ID, GST, or shop license photos).
C. Technical & Device Information
We automatically collect device identifiers (FCM Push Tokens for push notifications), operating system versions, app version details, and IP addresses to prevent fraud and ensure app stability.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Service Delivery: To connect residents with verified local service providers in Keshod and nearby areas.
- OTP Authentication: To send 4-digit verification codes via SMS and Email to authenticate logins securely.
- Vendor Verification: To review vendor authenticity and display verified listing badges on profiles.
- Inquiries & Reviews: To allow users to post service inquiries, leave ratings, and provide feedback for local services.
- Push Notifications: To inform vendors of new customer inquiries and notify users about active service listings.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We partner with industry-standard, secure infrastructure providers to process data safely. We do not sell your personal data:
AWS Lightsail Storage
Stores vendor portfolio images, documents, and category icons in ap-south-1 (Mumbai) datacenter.
Razorpay & PhonePe
Processes vendor membership payments via PCI-DSS compliant secure payment gateways.
Firebase Cloud Messaging
Delivers real-time push notifications for customer inquiries and updates.
PostgreSQL DB (AWS)
Encrypted managed database hosting user profiles, vendor details, and reviews.
5.Data Retention & User Rights
We retain user and vendor profile data as long as the account remains active. Users and vendors have full rights to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request corrections or updates to inaccurate profile details.
- Request permanent deletion of your account, vendor profile, and uploaded images.
To request account deletion or data removal, email us at hello@sathiseva.arkabyte.com with your registered mobile number. Data deletion requests are fulfilled within 48 business hours.
